CARELINK COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES
CareLink’s services are grounded in psychosocial rehabilitation, focusing on achievable outcomes and community integration. Participants receive training in life, social, and career skills, along with opportunities to engage in activities and events that promote socialization and connection within the community.
ALS ASSOCIATION
The ALS Association is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by ALS and ultimately finding a cure. Through global research, nationwide advocacy, and comprehensive support services, they strive to make ALS a livable disease.
SALVATION ARMY
The Salvation Army’s mission is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ while meeting human needs without discrimination. Through services like food, shelter, addiction recovery, and poverty relief, they work to rebuild lives and do the most good in communities nationwide.
POTTSTOWN AREA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
PAED’s mission is to drive economic growth in the Borough of Pottstown by implementing strategies that attract investment, strengthen the tax base, and create jobs. It also focuses on revitalizing underutilized properties to enhance the community’s overall development.
HANDICRAFTERS
HCOC, Handicrafters, grows by helping participants build skills for active community involvement. Their teamwork and achievements have earned them both a paycheck and the respect of customers who value their reliability and efficiency.
ZAP FAMILY FOUNDATION
The Zap Family Foundation, based in Reading, PA, is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting charitable causes within the community. Through partnerships and donations, it works to improve the lives of individuals and families in need.
RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE
RMHC programs ease the financial burdens for families during their child's healthcare journey, saving them $736 million in lodging and meal expenses last year alone. The organization also offers continuous education and support to Chapters worldwide, ensuring they have the resources needed to fulfill the RMHC mission.
ALVERNIA HOPE FUND
Alvernia’s Hope Fund supports students and families in financial need through scholarships, educational resources, emergency aid, and access to Clare’s Cupboard for groceries and meals. This fund ensures all students, undergraduate, graduate, and adult learners, so they can overcome hardships and continue their education.
COLE CARES FOUNDATION
Cole Cares honors Nicole Cottone Obenski’s legacy by supporting those affected by colon cancer through education, community involvement, and fundraising within the Radnor High School community. The organization hosts events to raise money for research and provide financial assistance for treatment-related hardships.
SCOUTING AMERICA
Scouting America, chartered by Congress, prepares young people for lives of impact and purpose by instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Law in a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment. Committed to non-partisanship, the organization ensures all activities and relationships reflect its supportive and respectful mission.

The PRCEF supports nonprofit organizations in the greater Pottstown area that address community needs and align with the club’s mission for broad, meaningful impact. Funding decisions are based on the program's effectiveness, quality of service, and relevance to local human needs.

The TLD foundation is a nonprofit with a focus on promoting dental hygiene through community outreach.
NORCO FIRE COMPANY
Founded in 1951, Norco Fire Company is a 100% volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to serving North Coventry, Warwick Township, and surrounding Chester County communities. The company proudly provides vital fire and emergency services with unwavering community commitment.
CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF PHILADELPHIA
CHOP is nationally known for driving clinical excellence, life-changing research, and community impact to deliver the best care for children locally and globally. CHOP patients deserve breakthroughs every day, and they are committed to making them happen.
OPERATION HOLIDAY
Operation Holiday, founded in 1991 by employees of The Mercury, provides food and gift cards to financially struggling families in the Pottstown area and surrounding counties during the December holiday season. Funded entirely by reader donations and managed by MediaNews Group employee volunteers, the program partners with local schools, churches, and nonprofits to distribute aid and support area food pantries.

The Victory Bank Foundation is committed to serving humanitarian efforts within the community, focusing on uplifting the most disadvantaged individuals. With respect and compassion for humanity, it strives to make the community a better place for all.

The CMMD Rise Together Foundation continues its mission to support community members facing cancer by prioritizing patient needs with compassion and innovation. Through challenges and triumphs, the foundation stands proudly with its patients, working together to promote healing and hope.

BM volunteers with URBN forACHIEVEability
ACHIEVEability is a nonprofit committed to ending generational poverty for low-income, single-parent, and homeless families through education, housing, and supportive services. URBN volunteers annually in projects like “Block Beautification” and home makeovers, helping with gardening, painting, and cleanup. Budget Maintenance contributes by providing labor and cleaning services to support the cause.
